AUS this afternoon:
Patdown TSA employee asks if I am wearing a sanitary pad! I ask if it is a new procedure to ask women such a question. I am assured that it is an established procedure--though I have never been asked that. I then ask the checkpoint manager how it can possibly be "secure" to resolve an "anomaly" by asking the pax about it and trusting the pax to tell the truth. He says, "It's not." Wow.
Also: No more paper comment cards! I got a card with phone, e-mail, and web site info plus a generic business card for AUS. I will photograph it later.
