Congrats on this outcome. I missed a spend once on a Citi card by cutting it too close and missed out on 50K miles. I made calls and sent messages, but was not offered anything or a second chance. I did not think to push it to the attention of SD. I will try not to make this mistake again, but if I do, your result is good to know.
