I am trying to book an award flight from US to NRT on JAL in F with DM. I was just told on the phone that they cannot book JAL flights more than 60 days in advance and that rule was implemented on June 26th or something. I was aware of domestic flights having that restriction but never on international flights. They can see the JAL seat availability but when they try to book, it shows that the seat is closed.
I was just told to call back and book when the flight is within 2 months...
Has anyone had same experience??
This was just complete wrong info the first phone rep gave me. How someone can sound so confident and gives actual dates of the rule change and says complete BS is beyond amazing. So glad I huaca, I booked the JAL flight no problem, but I think phone reps are still new to the JAL system and even the second rep I talked to took a lot of time. (hold time)
