The other consideration is the 1.5 month float on the $30K. Not worth a whole lot given the extremely low interest rates out there, but assuming a 1% annual rate, its $37.50. Gets the cost down to $524 or so for 45,000 UA miles, or 1.2 cpm if I go that route.

Or I could just use the 2% cash back FIA Amex and make a straight profit of $76 in cash.
