Datapoint: 10,000 miles posted recently, but no AF posting yet. Spent a couple thousand dollars on the card since opening. I called and said I was thinking about canceling because of the AF. I was first offered a 50% reduction in the fee, or a "permanent" waiver of the fee by switching to another card (card wasn't named, maybe the Arrival?). I pushed harder about a full waiver of the fee - they came back and said I'd get a full statement credit for the fee after it posts.
