called about annual fee on my us air world mc. Just said "I'd like to cancel the card unless something can be done about the annual fee on my account".
The rep placed me on hold while she checked available offers. Came back with an offer to waive the fee.
I probably won't be using the card very much this year. Last year I erroneously thought that using the card beyond 25k will waive award processing fees.. Turns out those are only on us air operated flights.
I'll leave it in the drawer in case they send me an offer to spend money on the card
