CDG-IAH in PV
While not in J(and even though it was half empty, AF never released any award seats or offered a "buy-up" upgrade!), here's the menu from my trip in PV on AF 0636, 12/31/13:
Appetizer:
Smoked salmon, blini, baby spinach
Main Course:
Tandoori chicken, semolina with spices, carrots
or
Creamy fricassee of salmon and Alaskan hake fish with mushrooms, carrot puree
Camembert cheese
Clementine
Almond cake with walnuts
Coffee and tea
The wines offered were:
Pays d'Oc 2012 Reserve de Tholomies(white)
Vins de France La Vieille Ferme 2012 Perrin & Fils(red)
Champagne(but don't know what kind)
Digestifs and spirits were also available.
Actually, it was all rather tasty. I had the salmon and hake. And the onboard service was just fine.
A second meal was served about an hour before landing, which included a hot bacon/turkey sandwich. Quite good, IMHO.
