Of course, the first month and part of the second, you'll be at 1% cashback, so the your annual profit has to account for that as well.
If you buy VR's and are getting the "5%", it is really 4.21%
If you buy GC's, it is typically 4.01%.
I find it easier to compute this way than to subtract the cost of each VR.
