The reindeer in the brown sleigh today was rather confident walking towards the house carrying 2 boxes.
The smaller box said New Braunfels Smokehouse. Perishable.
Obviously it needed to be opened immediately
My dog and the neighbours 2 dogs were overexcited and simultaneously tried to tackle and trip me on my way up the stairs. Once inside, I was able to open the box to find BACON! OMG. Someone sent me bacon! I love you!
and there was more! Massive smoked porkchops, buttermilk pancake mix, biscuit mix, blackberry syrup and peach preserves. A Cowboy breakfast kit!
As I'm giddy with excitement and pulling things out of the box, my SO is inspecting the box and the included catalogue. "It's a Texas Smokehouse" he says. "Uhuh" I reply. "The sender is from Texas" he says. "I guess so" I reply. "Your Secret Santa is a guy?" he says. "I dunno" I reply. "Isn't your Ex from Texas?" he asks.... Uhoh....
