Unless you are going to Saipan or Guam or Palau, you won't be on an interport 757 after a 12+ hour TPAC flight. Most of the NRT-GUM/SPN traffic is Japan O&D traffic anyway.
All the NRT-Asia flights (PEK, PVG, TPE, HKG, MNL, BKK, SIN) feature flat-bed Business seats.

The 75X is going from 26 to 20 First Class seats, not 16 F seats; a 6 seat (or a 23%) reduction). The other domestic 757s are going from 24 or 22F to 20F.
