With Delta removing FC seats, I am wondering about the long term outlook for FCM.

Hey DiverDave...Either way you slice it -- the number of physical FC seats in our fleet or the number of seats available each day (with each plane operating multiple flights) -- Delta still offers more FC seats than any other carrier.

DL AA UA US
Mainline 573 616 647 341
Large RJ 295 94 163 110
Total 868 710 810 451

The numbers above were pulled from the most recent publicly available fleet data.

It would seem awkward to have 2 rows of EC after 5 rows of First left of the 2L door..those people in EC would want First service but would be constantly ignored and skipped over..if theres room for 7 rows why not leave them all First....it does not seem like it will flow too well...maybe someone can reconsider if this really makes sense..?
The 757s will be used for Asia beach markets, Hawaii and Caribbean markets, as well as some high density leisure markets. A slightly smaller FC cabin makes more sense for these missions.

So, which 757-200s will be remaining in the fleet (other than the 75Es)? Will it be the aircraft that I mentioned in my previous post built in 1995 or later (N686DA, N687DL-N699DL, ships 6700-6717 [N6700 to N67171], N900PC, and all of the ex-Northwest 5600 series)?
Domestic
685-699
6700-6717
5652-5657

Hawaii
5635-5638
5644-5649

Interport
5639-5643

Other question... will the iport etpos 757s keep their higher ~40" pitch in F? Even though it is 'domestic' configured, the additional pitch really makes a big difference especially after flying for 12+hrs on a connection through NRT.
FC seat pitch on the 752D/H/I fleet will be 37".
