Yes, superb hotel.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked Deluxe for the weekend, which was upgraded to Junior Suite online a couple weeks before the stay. Then a week before the stay I contacted the hotel to say we would be 7 in our party and could they arrange another room, plus a dinner reservation? We ended up with a Prestige Harbor Suite and an adjoining room which was pretty nice itself. And some complimentary Champagne arrived at dinner. ^
How are the rooms?
The Prestige Harbor Suite is as good as some Presidential Suites I've stayed in. Huge 20ft high windows that open out towards the Port, and on the other side over the terrace/bar. And on the other side over the city. Fabulous views all around and sunset was gorgeous, enjoyed with the complimentary bottles of Rosé. Large bathroom facilities some huge hanging sculpture. Large family room with two sofas, and a dining table. Decent sized guest bathroom near the door and a small kitchen.
How is the exec. lounge?
No lounge, so they give free drink coupons to RA's for each day which cover everyone in the party.
What was good and what was bad?
Good
Excellent arrangements by the management.
Love the spa facility, and RA's get free access to the sauna, steam, etc.
Free Internet for all, with good performance.
The building itself. It's a real palace.
