Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
Very!
- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
BRG'd a standard room. Originally given riverview deluxe, but asked for trade to club room -> Given club access on standard room, still with riverview.
- How are the rooms?
Having a riverview in Budapest is worth it. Otherwise very normal. The hotel isn't stunning on the inside.
- How is the exec. lounge?
Great. Ate breakfast downstair but nice hot dishes at night.
- What was good and what was bad?
Good:
The location is the best in Budapest. Love it.
It's built like the IC HKG along the water with plenty of rooms with a view.
Obviously, my room with free, but the rates aren't bad anyways.
Sadly getting the option to choose between upgrade and lounge access is a huge benefit with IHG.
Breakfast was great.
Bad:
Nothing. Just again, on the inside it's a very normal 5 star hotel. Nothing luxurious but nothing bad.
- Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
A great cash value.
Would love to stay everytime I return.
