35 Hours in Cairns and on the Great Barrier Reef
We planned our itinerary without much time to spare. Thus, we had one day and only one day in Cairns and we wanted to snorkel. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate (30-knot winds). We did snorkel; but, one-half of the passengers on the boat vomited on the way out to the reef and our tour wasn’t able to visit the scheduled second location because of the unstable weather conditions. Still, we made the best of it and enjoyed snorkeling around Michaelmas Cay.
