WSB-TV is reporting the JW at Lenox was evacuated because of fire last night. They interviewed several guests who spent hours outside last night. Apparently, there was a fire in a basement kitchen. According to the report, the staff originally told guests to stay in their rooms, but the fire department made everyone evacuate. Of course, the elevators were shut down and guests had to walk down the high rise's stairs.
