Booked King London Deluxe Room under Weekend Escapes.
Don't know what type of room I really got. Didn't feel like a suite.
However, got the Club Access as a "Royal Ambassador Benefit"
How are the rooms?
Nice room. Modern and up to date.
How is the exec. lounge?
Excellent facility and staff is great!!! Don't want to be stereotyping, but I guess the staff makes the difference, because they are all from abroad and not UK. I tend to have more service issues in UK hotels when being served by UK staff... (sorry!)
Did you receive a welcome gift?
Dean’s shortbread biscuits and mixed berries.
How was the minibar?
Nicely stocked. But since I don't drink, I can only comment on the soft drinks...
What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Service, staff, concierge (which helped on lost luggage case), lounge
Bad:
Nothing.
