I completed the spend on my 2nd AA Plat Visa on 08/07 and the card closes on 08/09, but purchases from 08/05 are still listed as pending, so it looks like some of the spend will not make it onto this cycle. I'll have to wait another whole month for the 50K to post. I wanted to set up a trip to SE Asia in F, but I won't have enough miles without that 50K. Drat.
On the plus side, I'm going to apply for another one this week.
