Booked standard room. Got king room on eighth floor with airport view with an apology that the higher floors were being renovated.

Good:

On arrival I was greeted with "Welcome back Mr davidrnz". I commented that it was some years since I had been there and the check in guy said "It seems like yesterday".

Platinum status was acknowledged both verbally and with an upgrade.

Friendly, helpful staff.

Clean, comfortable rooms.

Handy to airport when you have an early check in.

I paid AUD165 for a single night mid week. Price can vary considerably. I've stayed here many times although it has been some years since I was last there. Would definitely return.
