I agree with what you said, but all are beside the point for the OP because of the 500k points/miles and elite status because I got an idea that the OP has no intention or slight intention of transferring the UR points to airline/hotels.
Sorry, OP, all I can say is which reward structure you like. Unlimited 2% or 5x for $1.5k with rotating categories and the versatility of UR points.
