Order of Apps (Barclays & US Bank)
I am planning on doing another round of apps soon and wanted to get some feedback on prioritizing the order in which I apply.
My last round was on 1/21. This time I am interested in getting the Arrival and US Air (2nd) from Barclays and the Club Carlson from US Bank.
The only previous Barclays card I have had was another US Air, which I applied for on 6/26/2012.
I have read that Barclays allows multiple apps if you have prior business with them (in my case the US Air card which I havent used since the month after I got it) and that the pulls will eventually merge into one. It also seems that apps for the 35K US Air card result in an error message, but are eventually approved when you use their status checker. I'm not sure whether that would have any bearing on additional Barclays apps this round.
I have also read that US Bank doesnt like if you've had any recent inquiries.
With that in mind, what order would you suggest I apply? My personal priority is 1) US Air, 2) Arrival, 3) Club Carlson, but I think I may need to reverse that order to appease the banks.
