The addition of this visual queue does not change any other aspect of the program, but it gives you some valuable information. This is the way I read it:
“TSA PRECHK” on the BP will just mean you can enter the TSA Precheck line, you will still have to have your BP scanned and you will either get 1 or 3 beeps.
Also read, "no other aspect of the program changed", just like if you had a GE card, you can enter the TSA Precheck line; however, you are not guaranteed 3 beeps.
