Royal First lounge BKK

After a nice night of sleep in the Novotel, we made our way back to the Terminal and headed for TG First Class check in area. We had planned to spend several hours in the Terminal just to make sure to fully enjoy the provided services.

At the First Class check in area, we were ask to take a seat and we gave our passports so we could be checked in all the way to OSL. We also requested to check that our luggages made it through so far. While we waited we were offered a bottle of water.

We also passed by the Royal Exclusive area... One is never the higher VIP!

After a few minutes we were assigned a young female escort who took our boarding cards and passport and requested we follow her. She took us through immigration which took less 20 seconds each, and security. That done, we took an electric cart to be driven to the First Class lounge.

Once there, we went directly through and our escort showed the way to a private room as I kindly requested. She then gave us back our passports and boarding cards, thank us for flying Thai and said she would inform the staff to make sure we were well taken care off before leaving.

The private room, and the First Class lounge obviously, are a very nice place to wait around! The colour scheme are subtle yet classy, and the service is top notch. The private room had a large sofa and a chair, a computer, and a Bang & Olufsen TV system.

A few instant later a young male staff came in and asked if we needed anything. As a matter of fact we asked to book a massage each and then ordered some Breakfast from the iPad menu.

Everything was promptly served, and the service was done in the most courteous way I've seen on this trip. Absolutely spotless.

Our breakfast. Excellent, it consisted of a Cappucino, fresh orange juice to drink and a fresh crispy salad, 2 eggs over easy with cabon and ham, omelette with bacon and sausage and a bread basket

We spent our time on the computer in the room, watching the news and reading a bit. Of course we also visited the restroom during our stay, needless to say they were spotless.

Time flew by on soon it was ready for our one hour massage session. A young female came to pick us up and told us to leave our private room as it was, they would keep an eye on everything for us.

So far then Thai is offering ground services in a different league. Everything was fantastic and the staff sure did their outmost to make our time in the lounge pleasant.
