Part 3

Since we were alone in the cabin (if we exclude the purser who slept in 3F), we requested that our beds be made on row 2, which was of course not a problem. however as mentioned before, the seat in bed mode was not very comfortable. It was uneven and the madras was defnitely too thin. Shortly put, that was the worst sleep I had in F class.

Still, I managed to enjoy a good movie (Seven year itch with Marylin Monroe) on the small screen. The IFE onboard this 74R is clearly not of the latest generation, but it was more than enough for my convenience. Sure the screen could be bigger, and the headphones a bit nicer, but all in all it was not too bad.

Not the best in the air, but still plenty of choices

My movie choice. You gotta love Air Conditionning!

After the movie and a few hours sleep / rest it was time for the second service. I almost did not eat though, as I was still full from the first service. I had a bit of soup again, which tasted the same, so I did not finish it. I also had the chicken satay, which was good and I stopped at that.

The chicken satay, which looks like an accident, I'll admit; tasted quite nice

During the flight we of course visited the restrooms which sadly have nothing to write home about. They are small (too small to easily change in) and with no design features whatsoever. Maybe it would be better to have one larger restroom instead of two? Not sure. And where is the shower? At least they were clean and amenities were replenished after every visit.

Elaborate decoration

In the end, we landed quite a bit ahead of schedule.

An escort was waiting for us outside of the aircraft. She was very nice, and spoke good english. She took us on a small cart and helped us clear immigration, which would normally have saved us a lot of time. Sadly my girlfriend had an issue with her Visa (or the lack of), and we used a decent amount of time clearing this up. Still, our escort was patient and courteous, and she helped us throughout the entire process. When we were all done, she made sure we were all set before wishing us an excellent night. Now that's what I call good service.

Conclusion
All in all, this was a good flight. I have a feeling to have flown an F flight from the 90s. Old plane, relatively old product, not a lot of pricacy despite beeing only 2 pax, old fashion purser. All that saved by Patty, our female FA, who was excellent, with small touches, like toilets being prepared all the time. Our glasses were always promptly refilled and her service was attentive and spotless, despite small misunderstanding because of the language. The purser was as mentioned over the top, and too much in your face. He was the one rushing through service and slept in the F cabin. He also did not respect our pricacy so much, as we were interupted often, which was not very cool. The final touch was excellent ground services which make due for a lot.
