Yes
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked King executive studio 2 paid nights = Penthouse suite.
Following 3 nights award stays = King executive studio.
How are the rooms?
Penthouse suite is nice enough, but has a lot of wasted space.
King executive studio's are nice too, obviously smaller, but more cosy and in my opinion, offer a better view.
How is the exec. lounge?

What was your welcome gift?
wine and sweets.
Did you receive fruit in the room?
No.
What was good and what was bad?
Good
Lots of niggles that people have previously complained about have been ironed out.
*Staff very friendly and a huge improvement from my last stay in October, greeted by name on most occasions.
* Doorman comes out straight away to welcome and help with bags.
* Welcome letter in English, instead of just German.
*Manager holds cocktail reception every Friday for, I'm guessing AMB/RA's. Was invited but did not go.
*when checking out was given a "lunchbox" with bottles of water, muffins and apples. A nice touch.
Bad
*Having to move rooms.
*Water switched off completely on day we left from 11AM to 6PM

Great value for a great (and expensive) resort.
Would you return?
Yes. The management have obviously worked very hard to make improvements. Staff now are noticeably better, and the whole experience was on a much higher level than my last stay.
