I closed my TYP Premier Visa last weekend, but my points summary still shows no expiring points. Argh.
A clarification for anyone who may be unclear (as I was) on how this works:
- Once you close a TYP card, you have 30 days to use the points from that card before they expire.
- Citi will now -- unlike in the past -- use those points first, except in the rare case where you have other points expiring even sooner.
- However, the TYP website will not show these soon-to-expire points as expiring, no matter how far down into your TYP points summary you drill.
