In Singapore, a credit card centre of a bank is usually a separate entity n they will not be able to access ur salary credit records, n the parent bank is not allowed by law to disclose even those theybare under the same group. Thus u needvto submit income statement. If not they just rely on your old records n only if ur employment remains the same. If employment has changed, they can't issue u a new card as well
If that is the case, why did they give the option of indicating that DBS is your salary crediting bank without the need to submit any income documents when applying for the credit card?
So they can assess that I'm eligible for the Altitude card via that option, but when reviewing my credit limit suddenly that method is not good enough?
Edit: And yes, I have changed companies from the past records (indicated clearly in my Altitude application form)
