I know folks say it's a "short flight" but Westbound to me it's an experience and it matters. Go for it.

+1 for NYC because of the city itself, flight options, probability of NF, CCR. The daytime flight JFK-LHR (morning departure) was EXCELLENT last summer - so much so that it's my next flight as well. I enjoy arriving in London and then heading to bed soon after.
