As you say, there can be a bit of a queue for the immigration.

When you take into account the cost of a CW or F ticket, £50 for 3 of us or £17 per person is not really significant.

The long walk through the terminal is the last thing our little miss wants to do after being woken up at that time and I also need my nicotine quickly!!!

On one hand, I think it's a shame BA don't cut a deal with them (and other airports where this sort of thing is available) and offer it at the time of booking. On the other hand, if they did, it could become like the fast track security
