Since no one knowledgable has answered this yet I guess I'll give it a go...
From reading this board I
think it refers to some kind of big-wig (or perceived big-wig) in the Thai world who obnoxiously demands more service than others and even has seats blocked for them in F on the chance that they might want a seat on that flight. I'm guessing the acronym is a take on VIP and stands for "Thai Important Person".
Am I right?
