Hmm, in my 'mid-40s' I think that's a long shot

I do have some lovely memories of being allowed to sit in the jump seat for a VC-10 landing into BAH returning home from school in '76. Flew on a GF VC-10 a few times too.

I am seriously beginning to consider this Falklands trip - even though it looks like hell on earth (or so to speak) on that plane, but to be forewarned.....
