Turbinate reduction surgery and flying

I have to have this surgery in a few days I am a flight attendant. My dr says I can fly after a few days but from what I am reading else where some people and drs are saying 2-6 weeks? My dr has never done this surgery on a flight attendant and I need for facts about flying afterwards. I dont want to fly somewhere and have to be grounded from flying and stuck there not beng able to get home till I can fly?

Anyone ever have this?

Thank you
