I take issue with these statements re:757-300:
What’s interesting about this mod is that even though we’re adding 10 Economy seats, we’re increasing average pitch in Economy. The extra pitch combined with new, slimmer B/E Aerospace Pinnacle seats, will provide our customers with a more comfortable experience.
Pitch is a measurement unaffected by seatback thickness. If the company wants to argue there's more legroom in spite of shorter pitch with more rows of seats, go for it. Such a seat design has met with hostile reaction on the Southwest forum.
