I just thought it worthwhile pointing out the planned expansion of services currently underway at Rotterdam-The Hague airport.
Lufthansa commences a twice-daily CRJ900 service to Munich from Monday 1 October.
There are some worldwide launch specials currently on offer, and returns to Munich start from €99.
British Airways announced recently that it intends to use slots that will become available after the bmi summer timetable has been completed to commence a number of new services from LHR,
including to Rotterdam. No further details have been announced and the flights have not been scheduled and are not on sale.
BA will operate 3 x a day/workdays to /from RTM ex LHR
Finally, an outfit called
Europort Express intends to begin service from RTM with destinations including Geneva, Hamburg, London Southend, Humberside, Manchester, Dublin, Aberdeen and Durham Tees Valley. Some sources indicate a September start date, but this seems ambitious. (
Some more info).
