On a serious note, I was looking at SQ's flight to FRA and wanted to connect at JFK. Also there was no award availability at any of the other hubs.
Besides the hubs, it is sometimes useful to look at connecting UA/LH, AC/LH, or US/LH at non UA hubs. Lufthansa has service from ATL, BOS, CLT, DFW, DTW, JFK, MCO, MIA, LAX, PHL, SEA, YOW, YUL,YQC, YYC, YVR, YYZ in additon to all of the UA hubs except CLE & GUM.
