Not impressed with Jet.
I actually flew them once, and as not impressed. Their drink service consisted of a six-ounce bottle of water. Really? What am I supposed to do with that? Wash my hands?
I also tried IndiGo. Service was not bad, but food was terrible, among the worst I have had on any carrier, anywhere. I had one of their vegetarian sandwiches; it tasted like it was made out of plywood. Don't go there.
You can accumulate MP miles with Jet, but I just don't know if it is worth it. But I really can't recommend Indigo either. And I haven't tried Kingfisher, or the other options yet. Maybe pick Indigo, but skip the food; it is a-la-carte pricing and ordering, anyway.
I have only had a few domestic flights on the subcontinent, and overall, I am not impressed. I think it is a "grin and bear it" type of situation. Just wait and hope for the flight back home.....
