FYR - I was flying from TPE-HKG then on to LHR.
I had to get my farther to book the flight but on the Cathay Pacific website with a UK credit card as I could not use my Taiwan bank card. Is that possibly why?
OK I see. The FB is equivalent to S3MTW, except I guess when you book through CX's website they change it to S3MIB (for "Internet Booking") to differentiate. As
cxfan1960 said the form of payment does not matter.
BTW, how come I can no longer view the original thread? Did you delete it?
