AC has an addition step where your resv is put in the queue for Ticketing (which can be immediate to a couple of hours) . When this is done you receive an email which show that is was ticketed. Maybe it would have been better calling in to book it manually where phantom avail could have been caught. . So did you receive an email from AC that has the details with a Ticket Number ? This is important. W/O that email your resv is only confirmed.
Since SQ was zeroing all FJ award inventory, your SQ segments resv might have been invalided during this time lag.
SQ agents can see/confirm reservations that are not ticketed. In addition you need to ask if they have a ticket number for resv. Only then is it confirmed.

I've just spent 2 hours on the phone with AC Aeroplan. They have reinstated my cancelled SQ F segments. Aeroplan has taken these from revenue space. Issued in 'F' class. The Lead Schedule Change agent I spoke with indicated that AE has to buy these seats from SQ.
SQ is clearly having ongoing system issues...the agents were not able to confirm F revenue space on my original flights and dates, so I had to shift my dates by a day. My file has been noted that should revenue F space open up for my original SQ flights I can make a free change.
I'm still waiting for new ticket numbers, but I don't expect Aeroplan will renege on their promise.
