Burger King sell a hot chocolate brownie with ice cream. Earlier this year I tried to take one through security at FRA.

The first security muppet helped me load it in the tray with my laptop, it went through the x-ray, the second security muppet saw it and ignored it, I stared packing my laptop away and started eating ...

... at which point the supervisor came storming over and said (in German) something along the lines of "ice cream = liquid" and told me I couldn't take it through.

I mildly pointed out that two of her colleagues had seen it and allowed it through ... and I resumed eating, slightly more quickly this time

... when she saw this, she started to get quite cross and told me to stop eating. Her colleague pointed out (with a big grin) that even if the ice cream wasn't a liquid now, it would be soon!

I asked if I could go out through the scanner, finish eating, and come back through again; at this point she got quite red in the face and told me to stop. I had almost finished by this point.

So I put the uneaten bit in the bin, smiled, and headed for the gate.
