I phoned finnair about this but they were less than clear. I have booked a discounted (I) business fare to Australia next year. I want to change it. Will it just cost the change fee of 115 euros or that plus the difference in fare??

Changes are permitted, subject to certain limitations,
against a change fee within the time of validity of the ticket.
Please check exact time of validity at the Finnair office.
The change fee is EUR 100 per transaction.
If the ticket is changed to a more expensive fare or route,
the difference between the fares and possible new taxes are also charged.
A service fee is applied for changes.
Before the day of departure of the whole trip the refund is 50 % of
the ticket price excluding taxes.
Refund is restricted after departure.
A service fee is applied for refund.
The rules governing your fare should be similar, i.e. the fare difference has to be paid too.
