IMO this is not covered by their "business process".
I mean, they have place for returned cars, washing/fueling station and parking lot for cars ready to rent, but not a parking spot for customers. You could ask somebody to do a personal favor and let you park, let's say, on the employee parking lot.
Also, you could ask the manager if you could "replace" your car and take 9 hours to choose your new car
However, in this case you have to refuel the car and go though some paperwork. It looks that OGG on terminal parking is $10/day (
