Here is how the longhaul fares compare to the last sale...
North America – these are very good value, as low as they have been for a long time. MIA is the stand out far with the Canadian destinations not far behind. Popular holiday destinations are not as low as other destinations, probably because this sale covers holiday season for the UK.
Caribbean – similar levels to previous sales – unlike North America these fares are available for travel later than September in many cases
South America – similar savings to North America
Middle East – Most fares a reasonable amount lower than recent sales with the exception of Abu Dhabi and Dubai
South Asia – some fares the same as recent sales, some excellent value, particularly Chennai and Hyderabad. Old BMI destinaitons not on sale.
Far East – Some good saving to be had. The stand out far, perhaps for the whole sale, is BKK at £1,299.
Australia - Syd about the same as last sale. First at £4,129 is pretty decent though.
Africa – JNB is the only real bargain this time around. Have added a lot of BMI destinations to the list but they are not on sale

Flights
This promotion is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is a person who is aged 18 years or over. British Airways reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Eligible Participants. By taking part in this promotion, Eligible Participants confirm that they accept the terms and conditions set out below.
Limited availability of flights at sale prices. All promotional fares quoted are from the departure airports stated in the booking and are based on the lowest available return flights worldwide available at this time. When viewing fares from departure point 'London (All)', the lowest available fare for any one of all the included London Airports will be shown.
Prices include all taxes, fees and charges, correct as of 22 May 2012.
Flights must be booked between 08:00 GMT 07 June 2012 and 23:59 GMT 14 June 2012.
Selected travel periods apply. Travel to Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad, (Port of Spain), Domincan Republic, (Punta Cana), St Kitts, Tobago and St Lucia is available for selected outbound travel dates between 21 June 2012 and 05 December 2012. Travel to Jamaica, (Kingston), Cancun and Puerto Rico, (San Juan), is available for selected outbound travel dates between 21 June 2012 and 15 May 2013. Travel to Bermuda is available for selected outbound travel dates between 01 November 2012 and 15 May 2013. Travel to all other destinations is available for selected outbound travel dates between 21 July 2012 and 02 September 2012. All travel must include a Saturday night stay. The maximum length of stay for travel from London City to Europe is 355 days from the date of booking. The maximum length of stay for travel to all other destinations is 42 days (6 weeks) from the date of outbound travel.
Individual travel dates are subject to availability. Promotional travel is subject to availability and capacity control, and availability may be limited over bank holidays and peak periods. The number of seats available on each flight at a particular fare may be restricted and it is possible that seats allocated to a particular fare on a particular flight may be fully booked even though seats are still available for sale at a different fare or booking class in the same cabin.
The promotion applies only to flights on the routes specified in the table at ba.com/luxury-sale. These are operated by British Airways except where shown to be operated by British Airways CityFlyer, Qantas, Iberia or American Airlines. All flights from London City are operated by British Airways CityFlyer. The promotion does not apply to travel on any other British Airways franchisee or alliance airline, or any flight operated by a codeshare partner save for the following routes: Manchester–Chicago, Manchester–New York (JFK) and London Heathrow–Raleigh Durham, which are operated by American Airlines, and London Heathrow – Amman and London Heathrow – Beirut, which are operated by British Midland. The specified American Airlines and British Midland routes listed are included in the promotion.
Minimum booking periods apply:
a. All Club World and First bookings must be made a minimum of 14 days before date of outbound departure.
Stop-overs are not permitted. Regional connections to London are available from £149 return including taxes, fees and charges for travel in Club World and First, and £127 return including taxes, fees and charges for travel in Club Europe.
All promotional flights are non-refundable and non-changeable. The date of departure is determined by the local date and time of the departing country.
Promotional travel must be booked, ticketed, started and finished in the UK.
Promotion does not apply group bookings (10 or more passengers in on booking).
For flights in Club World and First from London Heathrow or London Gatwick to:
a. Houston, there is no availability outbound on Mondays and Sundays, and no availability inbound on Thursdays and Fridays.
b. San Francisco, there is no availability outbound on Sundays.
c. Johannesburg, there is no availability outbound on Mondays and Sundays, and no availability inbound on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
d. Nairobi, there is no availability inbound on Thursdays and Fridays.
e. Bahrain, there is no availability outbound on Mondays and Sundays, and no availability inbound on Thursdays and Fridays.
f. Doha, there is no availability outbound on Mondays and Sundays, and no availability inbound on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
g. Bangalore, there is no availability inbound on Fridays and Saturdays.
Flights from Manchester to New York (JFK) are only available outbound on flight BA1553 and inbound on flight BA1552. Flights from Manchester to Chicago (O’Hare) are only available outbound on flight BA1501 and inbound on flight BA1500.
Travel to Riyadh and Jeddah is not valid for Haj/Umrah travel.
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. If booking direct with British Airways via telephone on 0844 493 0787 or online at www.ba.com, payment by cheque will not be accepted. Bookings made over the telephone will carry a non-refundable £5 offline booking fee per person per ticket. Calls cost up to 5p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles may vary.
Please note that some credit card issuers will not permit payment for air travel from the UK to be paid for on credit cards that they have issued if the billing address is outside the UK. British Airways does not accept responsibility for the refusal of any card issuer to allow use of its cards for payment. Prices are based on debit card payments.
