$598 plus tax AC163 YOW - YVR - declined.
I hope AC is getting someone paying these stupid prices. I notice that they have an extra screen after you click decline and continue that shows the benefits of business class. Even if there was a pod, $499 for 4 hours is very steep.
On a recent BA flight, CDG-LHR it was $80 CAD to upgrade. We took it as it allowed us to avoid a $50 CAD charge for a 2nd bag, so basically $30 to sit in J and use the lounge. Reasonable IMO.
