Why not just fly to LAS on Friday? The cost of a flight is probably close to the cost of a rental and gas.

I was told I would have to take the 10 to the 15.
My friend said that 10 is crowded, but 15 is fine...so perhaps I should stay somewhere past 10 and right before 15, so that I will miss the traffic?
oh...and the reason we are flying into LAX...we are flying in Thursday night, that week I am traveling for work.
I figured using the 2nd ticket from work to fly into LAX is more acceptable than flying into Vegas.
