So it appears that they are essentially killing off the PPlus card. They might as well just put it out of its misery as it has essentially been eviscerated.
The flex PQM are essentially worthless for anyone flying over 75K so there appears to be little reason to keep the PPlus. In fact, since the PPlus doesn't have the benefit of earning 1.5 miles per $ spend, you're loosing out by keeping it...if I understand correctly.
The new fee is higher than the PPlus? Now
that's a change we were expecting! Less is more. Less benefits and higher fees.
