flightNurse-While Anza was not the target of this trip, we did pass thru a bit of it on the way to Palm Desert, on 371 after turning off 79. We also did a bit of it on the way back from the AZ/NMex trip coming back from Yuma, on a crazy routing to our home in the North area of Escondido. A to Z is therefore correct. The trip actually involved about a dozen named deserts.
Anyone else visited Zzyzx? We have so many time passed by the signs. Thought a bit of a write up would satisfly others that have done the same. The pictures help too. Anyone know what the pipes in the air 6' off the ground are (shown in one on the pictures)? there were 8 or so employees working on the installation while we were there.
