Hong Kong Wetland Park
This place was opened for a while now, but I still had never been, it is famous for the wetlands consist of large area of mangroves and the rare mudskippers. This areas also frequent bird watchers, as when winter comes, all those birds from the north will fly south for the warmer weather, the wetland provide a place for rest and food. Then when summer comes, the bird will fly back to the north for cooler weather. It is located in the northern part of New Territories.
In order for me to get there, I have to take the MTR west line to Tin Sui Wai, then transfer to the light rail to wetland park station. I could see plenty of mudskippers, but not a lot of birds. This was my first time seeing mudskippers live, usually I could only see in photos in books, so I was excited about it.
