Correct. You will be served a full lunch and then a small snack before landing. From what I have read, the second 'meal' (fruit and cheese plate, I think) is quite small and leaves people hungry.
And you are talking about
first class. On all domesic flights (on every US airline except AirTran), a two-class plane has first and economy class. Business class is for international flights and 3-class planes (which only UA and AA have {UA/CO complicates this with their oddly named BusinessFirst on certain routes})
