Flying Dutchman ceased to exist around 6 years ago.
It seems that
there have been such offers in the past, but I've not heard of anything recently. (Other than Amex "refer a friend" campaigns).
In
last March's mega status match promotion, newly-minted elites that had been referred by an existing member were supposed to result in a bonus for each person referred, after they had taken their first flight. However, I don't know if those bonuses ever were given out.
