newport (in the summer)

- 41 north - anyone dined ? they offer memberships

- vanderbilt grace - has pool, spa, and daypasses - anyone been to spa ?

- castle hill inn >

grab an adirondack chair on the absolutely incredible lawn and take in the views while ordering from the lawn menu, which they started in 2009 and sounds delicious.

you can also dine at the outdoor bar, which had high tables.

for sunday brunch, they have live music. the well reputed lobster hash was indeed good and would actually make a great breakfast sandwich.

first time ive seen amuse at breakfast - fruit smoothies and a bread or scone. not sure if they do this at brunch though.

as only Pickles can put it >
