Your best offers will probably come the form of marketing offers. I know "V/P" likes a solid $250, $350 (dice) average to start getting above and beyond your marketing offer (room+whatever else they offer).
If room rate reductions weren't an issue (business), then pushing for maximum F&B comps was the way to go.
